The Perry Booster Club will be accepting unwrapped toys before and during tonight’s Perry girls/boys varsity basketball games against visiting DC-G. Action begins with the girls game at 6 p.m.
Fans are asked to help those in need have a merrier Christmas season by bringing an unwrapped toy, for either a boy or girl, to their table at the game. Gifts appropriate for infants through age 14 will be accepted.
Very often gifts tend to trend toward younger children, and while all will be happily received, there is a need for gifts aimed at kids 10-14.
Those wishing to make a cash gift or other financial contribution are welcome to do so at the game.
Gifts will be distributed to those in need throughout Dallas County. While the greatest need is in Perry, past donations have gone to Dallas Center, Adel, Minburn and other locations as well.
