- Brandi Kae Smith, 38, of 520 Lynwood Lane, Van Meter, was cited and released in the 34000 block of 360th Street for driving while suspended and no registration card.
- Elizabeth Schultz of Adel was traveling near the 106 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Kevin Dennis Olson, 50, of 513 Sixth St., Coon Rapids, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

- Cara Nicole Buettner, 32, of 4030 Rinard Road, Spring Hill, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Stephanie Ann Harlow, 35, of 2762 N.E. Norwood Lane, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for probation hearing.
- Kenneth Anthony Lebatard, 46, of 445 N.W. Sixth St., Earlham, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
- Ruth Ewing of Patterson was traveling in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
December 7, 2018
- Kevin Joseph O’Connor, 57, of 2721 High St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Sara Houlihan of Woodward was traveling in the 15000 block of Bittersweet Road when she lost control of the vehielce on a curve, overcorrected and the vehicle entered the ditch, overturning and coming to rest on its top. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,000.
