The city of Perry announced its schedules Monday for city services over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Christmas Schedule
All Perry city offices, the McCreary Community Building and the Perry Water Works office will be closed on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24 and Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25.
The Perry Public Library will be open Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will be closed on Christmas Day.
Garbage routes scheduled for Monday, Dec. 24 will be picked up as scheduled. Garbage routes scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 25 will be picked up Wednesday, Dec. 26.
New Year’s Schedule
Perry city offices and the Perry Water Works Office will be closed New Year’s Day, Tuesday Jan. 1.
The Perry Public Library will be open Monday, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and will be closed on New Year’s Day.
The McCreary Community Building will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Garbage routes scheduled for Monday, Dec. 31 will be picked up as scheduled. Garbage routes scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 1 will be picked up Wednesday, Jan. 2.
City of Perry Christmas Tree Pickup
The city of Perry will pick up Christmas trees and evergreen garlands or wreaths from residential areas Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 and Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019.
Trees should have all decorations removed. Please do not place trees or greenery in disposal bags.
Trees and greenery should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. to assure pickup.
