- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
- A caller said “her ex-boyfriend is unwilling to give back the phone she gave to him when they were dating.” An officer responded “and advised her it was a civil issue.”
- A caller reported “illegal dumping.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “he bought some new in-line skates and wanted to know and wanted to know if it was allowed to skate in the street or sidewalk.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “her bank account information was compromised and has charges from Kentucky.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “two juveniles were behind the middle school.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “she believes her neighbor” nearby “stole her cat.” An officer responded and determined the neighbor’s cat did not fit the description of the missing cat.
- A caller said “there were people on the property” nearby that “was supposed to be vacant.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “a male came in to buy beer but smelled heavily of alcohol so they refused to sell him any,” and he “took off” in a vehicle. Officers responded but did not locate the man.
- A caller “wanted to speak to an officer about a report he made last week” about “a loud noise that woke him up at 5 a.m.” The caller said “he is pretty sure it is from her residence” nearby because “her boyfriend dislikes” the caller, and the noise maker “was most likely him.” An officer responded and made contact with the neighbors.
- A caller said “she had locked herself out of her vehicle and wanted an officer to help unlock it.” The caller “was told officers do not assist with that, and she was given” the number of a tow service.
- Abraham Cardenas Ramriez, 31, 2019 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of second-offense OWI.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
