- A caller said someone “would not allow her to pick up her children.” The caller said someone “is their father but not on the birth certificate.” The caller said “they have a verbal agreement, and she is supposed to pick up the children.” The caller said “she reported an assault and that nothing was done.”
- A caller “reported a raccoon in her yard that came up to her dog.” The caller said she “believes the raccoon is diseased.” An officer responded and determined “the raccoon did not appear to be sick.” The caller “had a trap” and said she would attempt to catch the wildlife.
- A caller said he caught a dog running at large. An officer responded, saw the dog “broke its leash when it was let out” and returned the dog to its owner.
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “for his one-time visit to pick up his personal belongings.” An officer “responded and stood by.”
- A caller said “someone knocked on his window five times last night.” An officer responded and found “nothing unusual in the area.” The caller called again and said his neighbors were smoking marijuana. Officers responded and found “no signs of marijuana use.” The caller called again and said someone “had changed her number and asked if we could have officers advise her to have” someone else “stop knocking on his window and to advise that” someone “drinks a lot of vodka.” Officers directed the caller “to stay away from” the others.
- A caller “reported a child left alone in a vehicle.” An officer responded, located the vehicle with the unattended child and made contact with a woman who “admitted she had run into the store to cash a check.” The child was determined to be 3 years old.
- Bryce Parnell, 21, 1305 11th St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of fifth-degree theft.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
- A caller requested “extra patrol” at his apartment “due to there being knocks on his window late at night.” Officers were advised.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
- A juvenile male was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- A juvenile male was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A caller reported a barking dog and said “this is the third time, and it’s waking his kids up.” Officers responded.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
