Ivyn Lee Lund Jr., 56, of 1506 Greene St., #1, Adel, was charged with first-degree harassment and contempt of court-violation of a no-contact order.
The incident began about 6:5 p.m. Saturday, when an officer of the Adel Police Department reponded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Greene Street.
The arriving officers allegedly “”heard yelling,” and a female victim “shouted for officers to come in” the residence. The officers had been advised guns might be involved, so they drew their firearms, according to court records.
The victim told the officers Lund “was intoxicated and threatened to kill her and her cat,” according to court records. Lund then “went into the closet and retrieved a firearm,” the victim said.
The arresting officer “observed a firearm bag by the window,” according to court records.
Lund was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to posting a $2,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 13 in Dallas County District Court.
