- A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 6. Damage was estimated at $550.
- A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 6 and R Avenue. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
- Richard Lee Peterson Jr., 47, of 1236 E. 35th St.., Des Moines, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance–marijuana, unlawful possession of a prescription drug and theft.

- Michele Diane McCarty, 45, of 1512 Chance Court, Adel, was arrested for harassment.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 900 block of Main Street.

- Chad Engel Visser, 48, of 3929 Second Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Corey Allen Robinson, 33, of 118 S. 13th St., Adel, was arrested for two counts of child endangerment and two counts of animal neglect.
- Angie Lynn Collins, 46, of 118 S. 13th St., Adel, was arrested for two counts of child endangerment and two counts of animal neglect.
