- A vehicle driven by Brad Klobassa of Waukee was backing out of a parking space in the 1800 block of Grove Street when it struck a vehicle owned by Bethney Ahrendsen of Johnston. Damage was estimated at $1,550.

- Michael Fountas of Adel reported a burglary in the 2000 block of Main Street. Items were valued at $100.

- Brandon Sean Carlson, 29, 1806 Linden St., Dallas Center, was arrested on an Adel warrant for aggravated assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

- Kum & Go of Adel, 409 Nile Kinnick Dr. S., reported a theft. Items were valued at $411.88.
December 9, 2016
- Patrick Bertroche reported a theft in the 600 block of Grove Street. Items were valued at $5,000.
- A vehicle driven by Enezer Gartei of Des Moines was traveling westbound in the 800 block of Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Nancy Kuper of Adel, also traveling westbound, changed lanes and struck the vehicle driven by Gartei. Damage was estimated at $1,200.
