  • A vehicle owned by Wendy Marckmann of Adel was parked in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Astraea Munyan of Earlham was attempting to park and struck Marckmann’s vehicle. Damages were reported at $1,400.
  • A vehicle driven by Vicki Snyder of Adel was traveling northbound in the 400 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Janet Tiefenthaler of Adel was also traveling northbound and changed lanes, striking Snyder’s vehicle. Damages reported at $1,200.
  • David John Petersen, 40, 1631 Main St., Adel, was arrested on an Adel Police Department warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.

February 20, 2019

  • Thomas Hughes of Adel reported a theft in the 1400 block of Locust Street. Damages and items taken were estimated at $2,440.
  • Pamela Kae McGrean, 51, 210 S. 17th St., Adel, was arrested for theft.
  • A vehicle driven by Joni Reeves of Perry was traveling westbound in the 24000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when she struck a deer. Damages were reported at $1,000.
  • A vehicle driven by Elle Hook of DeSoto was stopped at the stop sign in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and waiting to turn when a vehicle driven by Abigail Embree of Adel was turning and struck Hook’s vehicle. Damages were reported at $7,500.

February 21, 2019

  • A vehicle owned by Herron Pharmacy of Adel was parked in the 600 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when it was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damages were reported at $1,100.
  • Kum and Go of Adel reported a theft in the 400 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. The items were estimated at $70.

February 22, 2019

  • Kezia Gettemy of Adel reported a theft in the 500 block of Van Fossen Lane. The items were estimated at $485.
