An Adel woman was arrested early Saturday after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend in the course of an argument.
Chelsea Marie Robertson, 28, of 808 Grove St., Adel, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Grove Street in Adel, where officers of the Adel Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The victim told the officers that Robertson allegedly “grabbed him from behind and bit him in the back” in the course of a dispute, according to court records.
When the victim “turned to get her off,” Robertson allegedly “scratched his neck on the back of it,” according to court records.
The officers observed on the victim “a large red mark in the middle of his back and scratches on his neck,” according to court records.
Robertson was held in the Dallas County Jail in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
