An Amber Alert was issued about 7 p.m. Tuesday by the Iowa Department of Public Safety for a missing 15-year-old girl last seen in Iowa City.
Ophelia Anne Barton, 15, is a white female, 5 feet tall and weighing 80 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing red shorts and a short-sleeve Disney shirt.
The child is believed to be in the company of Lindsey Anne White, 42, who is 5′ 5″ and 138 pounds, with auburn hair and green eyes.
White is believed to be traveling to Nichols, Iowa, in a blue 2014 Jeep Compass Sport with Iowa license plates LIU044.
