The Ames Noon Lions Club will host the 39th annual Central Iowa Toy Show on Sunday March 5 in Boone at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
This toy show is a continuation of the Jewell Lions Club show, which ran successfully for 38 years. The Ames Noon Lions Club hopes to rejuvenate and carry on this great tradition.
Exhibitors from Iowa and throughout the Midwest annually attend this large show. Attendees buy, trade, sell or just look at the large variety of farm toys and collectibles.
Doors will be open at 9 a.m., and the how lasts until 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, and attendees 18 and younger will be admitted for free. Net proceeds from the event help the Lions Club fund many local, state and international projects. Concessions will be available on site throughout the day.
