The Perry Water Works today announced their spring water main and fire hydrant flushing program will start Monday, May 16.
The maintenance procedure will take approximately three weeks to complete.
According to Perry Water Works officials, city water customers might experience low water pressure for a short time during the flushing program.
Customers might also experience discolored water during this period. If you experience discolored water, flush your home plumbing until the water clears up, the Perry Water Works advises.
The city water utility said it thanks customers for their understanding and cooperation during this important annual maintenance program.
