Lou Hoger of Perry, administrator of the One Perry School Recovery Fund, the donations collected by the Perry Community School District on behalf of those harmed by the Jan. 4 shooting at the Perry High School, on Thursday advised the public of the opportunity for Perry Middle School or Perry High School students and staff who choose to do so to apply for a share of those funds.
In order to be considered for receiving a share in the funds, one will:
- Have observed the shooting itself or videos of the shooting action and
- Experienced physical or emotional trauma as a result of that experience.
Applications will be sent to those requesting consideration of a financial benefit at One Perry School Recovery Fund, P. O. Box 54, Perry, IA 50220.
The request may be in English or Spanish, and the request will need to include the name of the student, the name of one or more parents and a complete address and phone number.
Interviews will be scheduled for those whose applications meet the criteria. Applications must be received by July 15, 2024, to be considered.
El Sr. Lou Hoger de Perry, administrador de los Fondo de Recuperación Escolar One Perry, las donaciones recolectadas por el Distrito Escolar Comunitario de Perry en nombre de los perjudicados por el tiroteo del 4 de enero en la Escuela Secundaria Perry, desea avisar al publico de la oportunidad dada a los estudiantes y personal de Perry Middle School y Perry High School que desean aplicar para compartir de esos fondos.
