“I would like to thank everyone who helped with the IWD Coffee 2019,” organizer Carol Jackson Cavanaugh said on Facebook Sunday. “To my friends overseas, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We felt the connection. Thank you to all seven speakers, plus artist Katie Jensen. Your messages were heartfelt, informative and motivating. To the ladies on the IWD committee – thanks for jumping on board. This day would not have happened without your help. To the ladies of La Poste – your contributions to the community of Perry will continue to be celebrated all year. Thank you.”
Cavanaugh was assisted by IWD Committee members Sue Andrews, Jill Brosnahan, Donna Galligan, Mary Laborde, Pearl Laborde, Karen Lea Peters, Cherie Tice Scheib and Joanne Warnock.
