A reworked Perry lineup is apparently going to take some time for the Jayette players to adjust to, as Bondurant-Farrar had little trouble in a 25-16, 25-11 and 25-11 win Tuesday.

Perry was playing with setter Quinn Whiton, who is out for some time with an injury. Her absence forced head coach John Fulton to tweak his rotation, and the first go with the new look was not up to standard.

Kacy Nevitt had five kills, Jasmine Shrive two and Jayna Kenney and Ashley Cerna one each as the hosts recorded just nine kills. Bella Nath had seven assists and Kenney one, with Nevitt in on six total blocks, Bath three, Cerna and Shriver two and Kenney one.

Perry was dominated in serving, connecting on just 31-of-38 (.816) with one ace while B-F was 65-of-69 (.942) with 14 aces.

Jenisis Cerna had seven digs and served 8-of-10, with Shriver 4-of-4, Nevitt 4-of-5, Magley Orellana 6-of-7, Mary Ann Riesberg 5-of-5 and Kenney 4-6-1. Ashley Cerna as 0-for-1 and Orellana added a team-best 14 digs.

Kendall Anderson had 11 kills and was 15-15-3 serving for the Lady Jays, with Lexi Bedier 19-21-8. Tori Carey finished with 33 assists, with Chloe Little making nine kills.

Perry plays in the South Tama Invite Saturday before visiting the Saydel Invite Monday then driving to Carroll for an RRC dual Tuesday.
