The incident began about 4 a.m. Sunday in a residence in the 28900 block of 360th Street in Booneville, where Dallas County Deputy Sheriffs responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

The deputies made contact with the victim and observed on the victim “a large bump on her forehead, and her nose appeared swollen and had been bleeding,” according to court records.

The victim told the deputies that “she fell and hit her head on their doorway,” according to court records.

The deputies made contact with Critchlow, who told the deputies that he “head-butted” the victim in the course of a dispute and that “the blood on his shorts was from when he head-butted” the victim, according to court records.

Critchlow is held in the Dallas County on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 24 in Dallas County District Court.
