Erin Lacy Hudson, 42, of Booneville was arrested Tuesday on charges of two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of child endangerment-bodily injury.

A Booneville man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Tuesday in connection with a January incident in which he allegedly got his girlfriend’s 15-year daughter drunk and raped her.

Erin Lacy Hudson, 42, of 28925 360th St., Booneville, was charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of child endangerment-bodily injury.

The incident began Jan. 26, 2023, when Dallas County Deputy Sheriffs responded to  a report of a sex assault in Booneville.

Laboratory test results were returned in May from a forensic medical examination by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation that showed the presence of Hudson’s “seminal fluid on the vaginal swabs” of the victim, according to court records.

A warrant for Hudson’s arrest was ordered May 31 in Dallas County District Court and served June 13. He is held without bond in the Dallas County Jail in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
