Central Iowa Toy Show set for March 24 in Boone

AMES, Iowa — The Ames Lions Club will host the 40th annual Central Iowa Toy Show on Sunday, March 24 at the Boone County Fairgrounds, 1601 Industrial Park Road in Boone.

Visitors may buy, sell, trade or just look at the large variety of farm toys, including NASCAR racing items and many other toys and collectibles.

The doors will be open at 9 a.m., and the show lasts until 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults. High-school age and younger will be admitted free.

Biscuits and gravy will be sold for breakfast and pulled pork sandwiches with sides for lunch. Carry outs will be available.

The toy show was formerly sponsored by the Jewell Lions Club.
