Beginning the week of March 19, a tree company will trim all trees and remove all ash trees on Willis Avenue between Third and 18th streets, the city of Perry announced Wednesday.
Weather permitting, Willis Avenue will close in one-block increments between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for the tree trimming.
Motorists are asked to go avoid the work area while trimming and tree removal are underway. Motorists should not drive around the barricades used to close the roadway.
The city’s statement said it thanks residents for their cooperation in keeping the tree
