A Clive woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly assaulting a Clive man in the home.
Kristina Jefferson, 26, of 15232 Holcomb Circle, Clive, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 2 a.m. Sunday at a residence in the 15200 block of Holcomb Circle, where officers of the Clive Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The officers made contact with the victim, who “sustained a minor abrasion to the left side of his head behind his ear,” according to court records.
Jefferson was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Sept. 3 in Dallas County District Court.
