Colleen Conrad of Perry

Colleen Conrad, 94, of Perry passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at the University Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

A private, family graveside service will be held at the Rippey Cemetery in rural Rippey, Iowa.

Colleen Elaine Conrad was born March 23, 1929, in Perry, Iowa, to Ralph and Claudine (Curtis) Jurgensen.

She graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, Iowa.

Colleen was united in marriage to Robert James Conrad in Omaha, Nebraska, on Sept. 15, 1950.

She worked at Hawkeye Cleaners in Perry.

Colleen enjoyed bowling, putting puzzles together and keeping up with friends and family on Facebook.

In death she rejoins her husband, Robert James Conrad; parents, Ralph and Claudine Jurgensen; brother, Bruce Jurgensen; and a grandson, Josh Conrad.

Left to cherish Colleen’s memory are her children, Kenneth Dean Conrad and his wife, Tammy, of Urbandale, Robert (Jim) James Conrad Jr. and his wife, Gloria, of Ogden and Dennis Allan Conrad and his wife, Sherrie, of Perry; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Larson.
