
Dallas County honored 19 employees Tuesday morning for their length of service to residents of the county by presenting them certificates of appreciation.
The recognized workers represent a cumulative 240 years of public service in Dallas County. Honored with certificates were:
- Michella Hackney, Recorder’s office, five years
- Tim Brickman, EMS, five years
- Angela Grossman, Attorney’s office, five years
- Jamie Schirm, Secondary Roads, five years
- Vince Stonehocker, Secondary Roads, five years
- Gregory Sieck, Conservation, five years
- Ann Cohran, Public Health, five years
- Aleasha Keubler, Sheriff’s office, five years
- Catherine Creighton, Assessor’s office, 10 years
- Kimberly Johnson, Sheriff’s office, 10 years
- Neal Vanderleest, Sheriff’s office, 10 years
- James Hooper, Facilities Management, 15 years
- Heather Smith, Treasurer’s office, 20 years
- James West, EMS, 20 years
- Steven Brownsberger, Secondary Roads, 20 years
- David Hutchins, Secondary Roads, 20 years
- Bill Freestone, Secondary Roads, 25 years
- Jeannine Ritchie, Attorney’s office, 30 years
The milestone attainers were each asked by Dallas County Board of Supervisors Chair Mark Hanson to deliver a five-minute speech, but each declined, although 25-year veteran of the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department Bill Freestone said his Hawaiian shirt would do his talking for him.
