Dallas Center woman faces assault, harassment charges

Autumn Raelynn Stout, 23, of Dallas Center was arrested Friday on charges of assault-place in fear of contact and second-degree harassment.

A Dallas Center woman allegedly assaulted and harassed another Dallas Center woman in and around a Casey’s General Store Friday evening.

Autumn Raelynn Stout, 23, of 1200 Ash St., Dallas Center, was charged with assault-place in fear of contact and second-degree harassment.

The incident began about 8:45 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Sugar Grove Avenue, where Stout allegedly approached the victim and said, “I’m gonna beat your ass, bitch,” according to court records.

Stout then allegedly chased the victim into the convenience store, where the victim sheltered in the restroom.

When the victim emerged from the store, and Stout allegedly “began chasing her again, attempting to assault her,” according to court records. The victim then sheltered in the restroom a second time.

Stout was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 5 in Dallas County District Court.

Stout was convicted of assault on persons in certain occupations in 2022 in Dallas County District Court.
