April 24, 2018

  • Kerri Hoover of 701 10th St., Dallas Center, reported the theft of a milk canister from her yard.

April 25, 2018

  • Greenslade Towing reported vandalism to the door of their business at 28766 Fairground Rd. in Adel.
  • Michael Andrew Smith, 27, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Anthony Lee Weyhrauch, 19, of 1115 13th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of driving while barred.
  • Geddy James Nible, 31, of 2421 39th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Jacob Deane Roberts, 22, of 917 S. Kennedy Ave., Madrid, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
  • Christopher Aaron Atkinson, 37, of 115 S. Sixth St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
  • Lane Garrett Pace, 22, of 1324 Ninth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license under suspension.
  • Michael Smith of Adel was stopped in the 30000 block of N Avenue and waiting for a vehicle in front of him to turn left onto 302nd Street when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Zackery Klocke of De Soto. No injuries were reported. Damage to Smith’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Klocke’s vehicle was estimated at $800. Klocke was issued a citation for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.
