- Kelli Sherwood, 36, of 900 67th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
Aug. 12, 2023
- Ricardo Perry, 45, of 4026 E. 23rd St., Des Moines, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
- Rhonda Gragg, 61, of 409 Grove St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for first-degree theft.
- Scott Brown of Harrisburg, S.D., was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 112 mile marker when he missed the lane shift due to construction and his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Betty Pham of Sioux City. No injuries were reported. Damage to Brown’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Pham’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
Aug. 13, 2023
- Talyon Kinkennon, 26, of 208 Martin St., Bouton, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Dana Angus, 60, of 401 S.E. Delaware Ave., Ankeny, was traveling in the 24000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when he slowed for construction at a temporary red light, and his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Raymond Kiefer of Waukee. Angus was transported to Methodist Medical Center by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Angus’ motorcycle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Kiefer’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Kiefer was issued citations for failure to stop in assured clear distance and failure to provide proof of financial liability-accident.
