Aug. 22, 2025
- Kaedon Shivers, 23, of 625 Irving St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- April Beechum, 52, of 774 N.E. Macey Way, Waukee, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for failure to use headlamps when required.
- Carrie Stein of Guthrie Center was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
Aug. 23, 2025
- Juan Salas, 44, of 13853 E. Richthofen Circle, Aurora, Colorado, was arrested violation of a no-contact order and providing false identification information.
Aug. 24, 2025
- A juvenile driver from Van Meter was traveling on County Road when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
