August 4, 2023
- Irving Lugo-Torres, 22, of 747 Ashby Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for parole violation.
- Laura Rhoten of Linden was traveling in the 15000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle was sideswiped by an unknown vehicle and entered the ditch. The other driver left the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage to Rhoten’s vehicle was estimated at $30,000.
- Quinn Lynch of Des Moines was traveling eastbound on 290th Street near I Avenue when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by James Stalter of Adel. Damage to Lynch’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Stalter’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000.
- Victoria Kirchoff of Johnston was traveling northbound on N Avenue when her vehicle left the road and flipped multiple times. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by Dallas County EMS. Damage was estimated at $18,000.

- Colin Smith, 24, of 7761 Cottonwood Lane, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- David Hyndman, 37, of 817 Madison Ave., Clive, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of probation violation.
- Nazir Coffie, 22, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Colter Krohn of Adel was traveling near the intersection of 250th Street and V Avenue when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Daniel Olson of Waukee. No injuries were reported. Damage to Krohn’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Olson’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500. Olson was issued a citation for failure to obey a yield sign.
