- The Cenex Station at 13780 N Ave. reported a gas drive off in the amount of $10.70.
- Jacob VanGundy of Des Moines was traveling in the 35000 block of Richland Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
December 15, 2017
- Kay Ward of West Des Moines was traveling in the 32000 block of 335th Street when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
December 16, 2017
- Granger Motors at 1708 Sycamore St. in Granger reported an attempted theft of wheels from a 2018 Ford pickup.
- Alexandra Reeder of Grimes was in the process of turning onto Twin Eagles Drive when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Trenton Swain of Madrid. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was less than $1,000.
- Jennifer Kufner of Booneville was traveling in the 33000 block of 335th Street when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Gregory David Hunt, 37, of 1085 26th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for theft.
December 17, 2017
- Michael Todd Boyt, 39, of 1202 11th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
- Tony Hiep Le, 19, of 335 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Jacob Deane Roberts, 32, of 917 S. Kennedy Ave., Madrid, was arrested on a warrant for OWI.
