  • Christopher Scantlin of 1607 W. Second St., Perry, reported someone dumped a metal desk and two tires at the entrance of his property and 18047 130th St. in Perry.
  • Samantha Elizabeth Olmstead, 25, of 1103 Greene St., Adel, was cited and released in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 6 for driving while license suspended and speeding.
  • Dillon Lockhart of Phoenix, Ariz., was traveling in the 32966 block of R Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
  • Roy Choi of Urbandale was stopped at the stop sign at W Avenue and Iowa Highway 44, and he pulled out to turn west, failing to see a vehicle driven by Gerald Bicking of Fremont, Neb., that was traveling east on Iowa Highway 44. Bicking struck Choi in the rear driver’s side quarter panel. No injuries were reported. Damage to Bicking’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000, and damage to Choi’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000. Another vehicle, driven by Thomas Anderson of Earlham, was damaged when it struck debris from the accident. Damage to Anderson’s vehicle was estimated at $600. Choi was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
