- A juvenile driver was traveling in the 18000 block of 130th Street when the vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. A passenger was transported by private vehicle. Damage was estimated at $5,000. The juvenile driver was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
Dec. 19, 2024
- Dimitri Woodruff, 31, of 702 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance.
- Cristina Hefler, 33, of 1717 Woodland Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft.
- Alejandro Rios, 22, of 1020 Paul St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Abbey Burrows of Adel was traveling in the 22000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
- Rebecca Shottenkirk of Dexter was backing out of a driveway in Dexter when her vehicle struck a cable box. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to the cable box was estimated at $1,500.
