- Wilson Theodule of Port St. Lucie, Florida, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 103 mile marker when he lost control of his semi-tractor trailer during the blizzard and slid into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $25,000.
Dec. 26, 2022
- James Weaver of Dallas Center was traveling in the 28500 block of 240th Street when his vehicle slid into the ditch and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to Weaver’s vehicle and $500 damage to the utility pole.
Dec. 27, 2022
- Chad Marchino, 35, of 1132 S.E. Mapleleaf Lane, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
- Julie Johnson, 42, of 913 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
