- Adem Aroro of Des Moines was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 at T Avenue when he pulled onto the right shoulder and then made a left turn across both lanes, and his vehicle was struck by a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Cody Hughes of Scranton. Aroro was examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Aroro’s car was estimated at $8,000, and damage to Hughes’ semi was estimated at $15,000. Aroro was issued a citation for making an unsafe left turn.

- Rebekah Baker of Adel was traveling on a river access road when she failed to navigate a turn onto 240th Street due to the icy roadway, and her vehicle entered the ditch and struck a sign. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated $10,000.
