- Yamiah Freemont, 19, of 210 S. 41st St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
Dec. 2, 2023
- Cole Andersen, 20, of 2405 Twin Eagles Dr., Granger, was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, possession/purchase of alcohol by person under 21 and person under 21 using tobacco/vapor product.
- Joseph Mazzie, 32, of 1172 S. 52nd St., West Des Moines, was arrested for OWI.
- Marlene Kuehl of Dallas Center was traveling in the 31000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when her vehicle entered the ditch. She was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
- Randalph Glass, 57, of 205 Cartwright St., Rippey, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Gracia Abrahamsen of Winterset was traveling in the 36000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
Dec. 4, 2023
- Thomas Hayes, 34, of 1631 E. Grand Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for operating without interlock, driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a citation for speeding and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
