- Ryan Joseph Stonebraker, 31, of 1033 Collins Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault causing bodily injury.
- Tamara Danielle Ramirez, 27, of 2451 N Ave., Dallas Center, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of theft and providing false identification information and on a violation of probation on an original charge of burglary.
- Joseph Mark Emans, 52, of 1507 Sycamore St., Dallas Center, was arrested at this address for domestic abuse assault.
- Wayne Kinney of Van Meter was traveling south in the 3000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,500.
February 23, 2019
- Sarah Jean Decker, 34, of 5209 Hickman Road, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of electronic or mechanical eavesdropping.
- Louisa Mary Lopez, 55, of 204 N. First Ave., Marshalltown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and violation of probation on an original charge of theft.
- Michael Lloyd Jones, 22, of 3800 Martin Luther King Parkway, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and violation of probation on an original charge of theft.
- Dillon James Emery Steward, 26, of 2185 N.W. 159th St., Clive, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference on an original charge of theft.
- Austin Kahmer of Middle River, Md., was traveling near the 109 miler marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his vehicle hit a patch of ice, and he lost control of his vehicle, which ran into the cable barrier. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Kahmer was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to maintain control.
- Amber Nicole Pope, 29, of 1227 Fawn Ave., Earlham, was arrested at 304 Barton St. in Dexter for assault causing bodily injury.
- Christopher Knight of Earlham was traveling near the 110 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he lost control of the vehicle in the heavy freezing rain, and the vehicle slid into the median, rolling onto its side. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated $2,000.
February 24, 2019
- Shelby Ryan, 21, of 333 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Gregory Press of Clive was traveling in the 22000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he lost control of his vehicle, which entered the median, rolled and landed upright in the eastbound lanes. Press was taken to Iowa Methodist Medical Center by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
- Narinded Singh of Calgary, Alberta, was traveling near the 100 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his semi-tractor trailer jackknifed and landed against the guard cables. The tractor trailer was then struck by a vehicle driven by Cameron Ethier of Van Meter and Ethier’s vehicle was then struck by a semi-tractor trailer driven by Michaele Guley of Clarkston, Ga. No injuries were reported. Damage to Singh’s vehicle was estimated at $25,000. Damage to Ethier’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Guley’s vehicle was estimated at $500 to Guley’s.
- Jeffrey James Bast, 28, of 9206 Oakwood Dr., Urbandale, was arrested at Fourth Street and Hickman Road for OWI.
