Feb. 19, 2025
- Nathan Hopley of Dallas Center was backing out of a parking space in the 600 block of Sugar Grove Avenue in Dallas Center when his vehicle struck a legally parker vehicle, owned by Symone Miller of Minburn. No injuries were reported. Damage to Miller’s vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
Feb. 20, 2025
- Morgan Smith of Grimes was traveling on 14th Street near Cherry Street in Dallas Center when her vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Nathan Hensley. No injuries were reported. Damage to Smith’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Hensley’s car was estimated at $1,500.
- April Zuniga, 38, of 308 E. Holcomb Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for third-degree theft.
- Hunter Oleson, 21, of 4402 160th Circle, Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Cristina Hefler, 33, of 1717 Woodland Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft.
