Feb. 24, 2025
- Kimberly Nesbitt of Panora was backing out of a private driveway in Dallas Center when her vehicle struck an unoccupied vehicle, owned by Meagan Roberts. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
- Emma Baker of Windsor Heights was traveling on U Avenue near Meredith Drive when her vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Zebulun Willies of Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicles was estimated at $10,000. Willies was issued a citation for failure to yield upon left turn.

- Francisco Cortez Jr., 28, of 1427 E. 40th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of criminal mischief, domestic abuse assault, burglary, harassment and child endangerment.
