- Stefanie Coene of Oskaloosa was traveling south on Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,800.
December 31, 2016
- Benjamin David Groves, 38, of 6205 S.E. Fifth St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to register for the sex offender registry.
- Cheyanne Becker of Waukee was traveling west in the 32000 block of 335th Street when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
January 1, 2017
- Natasha Vanbrunt of Orient was traveling east near the 104 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when her vehicle struck a deer. Vanbrunt was transported to Mercy Medical Center West by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7,000.
