- Ryan Beach of Exira was stopped at the stop sign on Warren Street in Dexter when a vehicle driven by Ashton Redford of Stuart made too wide a turn for the slippery road conditions and struck Beach’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Beach’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Redford’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Beach was given a warning for an unsafe turn.
- Jeffrey Grove of Adel was traveling northbound on N Avenue turning left onto Fairgrounds Road when a vehicle driven by George Lingo of Boone tried passing while Grove was turning left and struck his vehicle on the driver’s side door. No injuries were reported. Damage to Grove’s vehicle was estimated at $1,0000, and damage to Lingo’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Lingo was issued a citation for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.
- Faith Ashlyn Depenning, 24, of 5482 Longview Court, Johnston, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license denied.
