- Emily Klein of Manchester was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near Quinlan Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle, which entered the ditch and struck a sign. No injuries were reported. Damage to Klein’s vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
Jan. 29, 2024
- Jesus Ochoa Munoz of Adair was traveling in the 33000 block of L Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
- Melinda Coyle of Van Meter was traveling 29000 block of 360th Street when she slowed for a deer crossing, and her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Michael Banks of Van Meter, which then entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to Coyle’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Banks’ vehicle was estimated at $7,000.
