- Emily Ruby Witter, 29, of 305 27th St., Mason City, was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of credit cards and failure to appear for PSI interview.
- Chad Michael Menz, 39, of 1420 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for domestic abuse assault and violation of a no-contact order.
- Deputies responded to a three-car vehicle accident in the 28000 block of Iowa Highway 44. Stanley Markey of Minburn was traveling east on Iowa Highway 44 when he crossed the center line and hit a westbound vehicle driven by William Ice of Grimes. Nicholas Duckett of Adel was eastbound behind Markey and was unable to avoid striking Markey’s vehicle. Markey was transported to Mercy Main Downtown by Dallas County EMS. Ice was transported to the Veterans Affairs Hospital by Dallas County EMS. Duckett was not injured. Damage to Markey’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to Ice’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Duckett’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Markey was issued a citation for unsafe passing.
- Jordan Moeller of Woodward was traveling south in the 12000 block of S Avenue when William Lenerz of West Des Moines was backing out of a private field entrance and struck the passenger side of Moeller’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Moeller’s vehicle estimated was at $5,000, and damage to Lenerz’s vehicle was estimated at $200. Lenerz was issued a citation for unsafe entry onto the roadway.
