- Charles Rogers of Grimes was traveling in a semi-tractor trailer on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 105 mile marker when an equipment failure occurred, and the brakes locked on the trailer, causing the vehicle to jackknife and enter the median. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $7,000.
June 15, 2023
- Jeffrey Wilson of Des Moines was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 100 mile marker when his motorcycle struck a deer. Wilson was transported by Dallas County EMS to Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage was estimated at $4,000.
June 16, 2023
- Shawnda Worthington, 48, of 809 Main St., Adel, was arrested for driving while suspended.
