June 14, 2024
- Brett Armstrong of West Des Moines was stopped at the corner of Broadway and Main streets in Granger when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Terry Cooley of Woodward. No injuries were reported. Damage to Armstrong’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Cooley’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Cooley was arrested on a charge of OWI.
June 15, 2024
- Terry Cooley, 48, of 307 Ash Ave., Woodward, was arrested for OWI, possession of a dangerous weapon while intoxicated, failure to stop in assured clear distance and open container.
- Behenzin Bridges, 38, of 2939 Cayden Road, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Tailar Olson of Perry was traveling in the 17000 block of 230th Street when she swerved to avoid striking the deer, and her vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $15,000.
June 16, 2024
- Marcus During, 38, of 204 First Ave., Rock Rapids, Iowa, was charged with three counts of violation of a no-contact order.
