June 14, 2025
- Desiree McDonald of Cedar Rapids was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 110 mile marker when her vehicle struck debris in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
June 17, 2025
- Holly Russell, 40, of 322 Barton St., Dexter, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury.
- Lesa Heckt of Clive was traveling on Wendover Avenue near Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Ester Makombe of Urbandale. No injuries were reported. Damage to Heckt’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to Makombe’s vehicle was estimated at $4.000 . Makombe was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
