March 10, 2020
- Constance Clark of Stuart was traveling north on Old Highway 6 when her vehicle was struck by a West Central Valley School Bus driven by Janice Ross of Redfield. Ross was traveling west on Bear Creek Road and failed to stop/yield at the intersection. Clark was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy Main Hospital. Damage to Clarkâs vehicle was estimated at $30,000, and damage to the school bus was estimated at $2,500. Ross was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign/yield right of way.
March 11, 2020
- Michelle Kay Gillespie, 55, of 866 Collins Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under suspension.
- Kimyatta Monique Flowers, 40, of 2518 Farwell Ave., Minneapolis, Minnesota, was arrested at the 108 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for possession of marijuana.
March 12, 2020
- Justin Roy Gerlach, 39, of 5225 Merced St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for attempted burglary.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
