- Austin Waldorf of Van Meter was traveling east on 360th Street when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.

- Erin Hudson of St. Charles was traveling in the left lane near the 118 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 and following a vehicle driven by George Grant of Chicago. Grant suddenly applied the brakes on his vehicle, and Hudson tried to stop but did not have enough time, and Hudson’s vehicle struck Grant’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Grant’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Hudson’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Grant was issued a citation for unsafe stopping in the middle of the roadway.
- Kimberly Kruse of Adel was traveling in the 33000 block of N Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
March 27, 2018
- Juan Luis Rocha, 49, of 9517 University Ave., Clive,was cited and released in the 25000 block of 240th Street for driving while suspended.
