March 1, 2023
- Daniel Rico of Waukee was traveling in the 21000 block of W Avenue when he lost control, and his vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to a fence was estimated at $500.
March 2, 2023
- Brandon Kirtley, 32, of 908 Park St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Bobby Mumford, 42, of 207 N. West St., Yale, was arrested for OWI and issued citations for failure to maintain control, failure to yield half of roadway and driving while suspended. Mumford’s arrest resulted from an investigation of an accident in the 31000 block of 240th Street in which Mumford was traveling westbound and crossed the centerline, forcing a vehicle, driven by Larry Dietrich of Ankeny, to swerve and collide with Mumford’s vehicle. N o injuries were reported. Damage to Dietrich’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500, and damage to Mumford’s vehicle was estimated at $8.000.
March 3, 2023
- Julio Ruiz, 20, of 2021 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Cameron O’Berry, 33, of 7178 Griffin Road, Brooksville, Florida, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for speeding and reckless driving.
