- Dion Ensminger, 26, of 2052 Fox Pointe Dr., Aurora, Illinois, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, failure to affix drug stamp and control of a firearm by a felon and was issued a citation for speeding.
- Jessica Gonzalez, 44, of 1011 Wade St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Donald McChesney II, 42, of 820 18th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Debra Parizek of Dexter, was traveling in the 19000 block of 365th Street when she lost control of the vehicle, which entered the ditch and overturned. Parizek was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage was estimated at $2,500.
- Joshua Rhamy of Winterset was traveling in the 1000 block of Guthrie Street in De Soto when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Shyann Warrick of Waukee, who had stopped to make a left turn. No injuries were reported. Damage to Rhamy’s car was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Warrick’s car was estimated at $2,000.
- Isaak Britt of Grimes was driving in the 36000 block of Tabor Road when he swerved to avoid a deer and lost control of the vehicle, which entered the ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported, Damage was estimated at $10,000. Britt was cited for failure to maintain control and violation of conditions of a restricted license.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
