May 17, 2025
- Lawrence March, 59, of 3510 E. Eighth St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Richard Hannah Jr., 38, of 770 S.E. Bobwhite Lane, Waukee, was arrested for OWI and issued citations for speeding and dark windows.
- Lily Belt, 22, of 401 Walnut St., Walnut, was arrested for OWI.
- Ellen Webb of West Des Moines was stopped at a stop light on the exit ramp of U.S. Interstate 80 at U.S. Highway 169 when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Cielo Castillo Colon of Des Moines. A passenger in Webb’s vehicle was transported privately for injuries. Damage to Webb’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
May 18, 2025
- Austin Rowe, 27, of 11544 Berry Pl., Littleton, Colorado, was arrested for first-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a citation for no license.
- Jonathon McClure of Dallas Center was traveling on 270th Street near the Raccoon River Valley Trail when his vehicle was struck by a bicycle, operated by Joseph Hrdlicka of West Des Moines. Hrdlicka was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to McClure’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
- A juvenile driver was exiting the U.S. Interstate 80 when the vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. The minor driver was able to get the vehicle back onto the roadway and left the scene. The vehicle and minor driver were later found in Redfield. No Injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,800 damage.
