May 25, 2023
- Judy Rumery of Pella was traveling westbound on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 113 mile marker when her vehicle collided with a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Uri Igolkin of Aurora, Colorado. No injuries were reported. Damage to Rumery’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000, and damage to Igolkin’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

- Josiah Johnson, 45, of 5305 N.W. 55th Ave., Johnson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
May 27, 2023
- Kenneth Schwieso, 59, of 1413 S. 15th St., Adel, was arrested for OWI.
- Cairon Parker, 20, of 1000 School St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of theft and criminal mischief.
- Angel Segura, 52, of 3525 56th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for exploitation of an older individual and fifth-degree fraudulent practice/retail receipt.

- Miguel Aguilar Salgado, 43, of 1905 W. Second St., Perry, was arrested for OWI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a citation for improper use of lanes and open container.
- Autumn Wood, 19, of 1604 Main St., Adel, was arrested for OWI and child endangerment and issued a citation for possession or purchase of alcohol by a person under 21.
- Richard Peters of Waukee was traveling in the 25000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer.
- Hunter Keasey, 23, of 24531 N Ave., Dallas Center, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
May 29, 2023
- Jeffrey Hedlund of Nevada was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 112 mile marker when his vehicle blew a tire, causing Hedlund to lose control of the vehicle, which struck the cable barriers, entered the opposing lanes and collided with a vehicle, driven by John Turnipseed of Lincoln, Nebraska. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hedlund’s vehicle was estimated at $20,000, and damage to Turnipseed’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Jose Sanchez, 32, of unknown address was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
May 30, 2023
- Rungere Elia, 33, of 4195 Cheyenne Court, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
